Welcome to Zolan's Wiki.

What exactly is a Wiki you might ask? Well, if you are really curious, check my Wiki page.

  • LinuxOnLaptops - I've owned a handful of laptops, so I may have some information about what it took to get linux working on my laptops. Right now this section is rather incomplete.
  • ZolansHowtos - This section contains all of my little howtos I've written. Mainly for my own use since I hate doing something, and having to remember how to do it again 3 years later.

Information about my present Wiki.

I am using a Wiki called TipiWiki . I have modified it to do an include on my header and footer files which is simply 4 new lines of code. I added one new Wiki Style which was one more line of code, modified one Wiki Style to make it work better for myself, and I added HTTP Authentication to the edit function which is like another 12 lines of code. I also modified like 2 or 3 lines of code to make the TipiWiki completely valid XHTML 1.1 Strict. It's been the easiest code to read so far and VERY flexible. I will be sending a list of my changes to the developers in case they are remotely interested. But I just wanted to say that it's a great Wiki to use. .
